2nd Annual "Going to Bat for the Cure"
August 14th and 15th
Nassau Baseball Association will be holding their 2nd Annual GTB4C.
 Last season we were able to raise $3300 for the Susan G. Komen Research Foundation for the Cure of Breast Cancer. 
This will be a fun game of the moms, aunts, sisters vs. their player. 
It gives the "moms" a chance to lace them up and see how much fun it is to play baseball and it supports a great cause.

2010 Baseball Derby Day
and Awards Ceremony
This competition will be held on Saturday, August 21st
Ages 5-8 will register at 10:00 and the contest will begin at 10:30
Ages 9 and up will register at 12:30 and the contest will begin at 1:00
Cost for the event is $10 and includes a shirt, hot dog and drink the day of the event.
Event Details:
Home Run/ Hitting Derby:  hits are awarded points based on distance from home plate and the zone they hit into, with home runs receiving the highest points
Fastest Pitch:  Players will pitch from the mound and they will have their throws gunned
Long Throw:  From Center to home plate.  Most accurate and closest...
Fastest out of the box:  Home to 2nd
Prizes will be awarded to all the players that enter this contest and prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each category and over all will be awarded.
AWARDS WILL BE HELD AT THE COMPLETION OF THE DAYS EVENT


VALLEY CATS GAME
AUGUST 21ST AT 7:00
We will meet outside of the Joe Bruno Stadium at 6:15 and enter the stadium at 6:30. 
The players will go out on the field at 6:45
They will have a chance to get the players autographs.
Cost is $7 per ticket and we have only reserved 150 tickets.


All-Stars Academy Summer Camp

The All Stars Academy Baseball Camp offers many varied baseball learning experiences and
the teaching of proper execution of baseball  fundamentals for boys and girls.
Mike Serbalik and the All Stars Academy staff have been conducting summer camps in the capital district for the
past 12 years. A week of the All Stars Academy Baseball/Softball Camp can be serious fun. Individual instruction will
be received in Hitting, Fielding, Pitching, Catching and Base Running. Game situations will also be stressed.
Enrollment will be limited to a first come first served basis. The concession stand will be open for lunch.
You don’t need to travel a long distance to find a good baseball camp because the All Stars Academy camp
can offer you everything you need right at our field in Nassau. Enroll today and learn to play the game of
baseball the way it was meant to be played.
